Messages by Chief Executive Officer of IIUM Usrah Mahallah in conjunction with Aidilfitri 1438H

Let me take this opportunity to thank the whole Usrah Mahallah People for whatever they have done for Usrah Mahallah throughout Usrah Mahallah Year 2016/2017. Despite challenges and oppositions faced by Usrah Mahallah and its people throughout this year, Usrah Mahallah reform has taken place successfully.

It is not only Declaration on Usrah Mahallah that makes it possible. It is also everyone’s commitment and dedication in upholding the name of the University, defending its Constitution and providing continuous support towards Usrah Mahallah, its activities and its people.

Consequently, Usrah Mahallah and its people have created numerous successful records for Usrah Mahallah itself, for the University and for our people. I will present to the whole University those successful records, next September, particularly when the new Usrah Mahallah Year takes place.

Congratulations to all of you, not only for the success of Usrah Mahallah in such Usrah Mahallah Year, but also for our success in going through the whole Ramadan with our family and friends. I am sure that we have enlivened this holy month with fasting, congregational Tarawih prayer, Qiamullail, Zakat Fitrah and Sedekah.

Congratulations for another time for the celebration of Eid al-Fitr. Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri to the whole Usrah Mahallah People and the whole IIUM Community. For whatever I have done in my personal and professional capacity, all this while, Maaf Zahir dan Batin.

I pray to the All Gracious and the All Merciful that He will accept our good deeds throughout Ramadan, grant us His Amnesty and Blessings, delete our name from the Hellfire but write it at the Paradise, allow us to maintain good deeds we have done in Ramadan in other 11 Hijri months, bring us to meet the next Ramadan, make our Eid celebration joyful, and retain love that we have create all this while.
