Usrah Mahallah: Together Ascending Further

“Let us bring more betterment to Usrah Mahallah. Tell the University that we can make Usrah Mahallah better than before.”
President Muizz, Mr. Principal, members and delegates of the Council, distinguished guests, brothers and sisters:
I was thrilled, last two Mondays, when President Muizz informed this very Council of the pleasure of the Deputy Rector (Student Affairs) of this University, after more than 4 months of waiting, to endorse the Declaration on Usrah Mahallah.
“Together Ascending Further” is, since then, no longer meaningless for us, but has been sharing the same aspiration with “Generating the True Hope”, so “Together Ascending Further” by “Generating the True Hope”.
Today, I am thrilled for another time for no reason but the honour bestowed in me to deliver my second Presidential Address before this Council, and I wish this Address will encompass the University’s aspiration in making Islamisation one of successful missions in this University.
Overall Usrah Mah…

Recalling Usrah Mahallah Reform

"Our duty, today, is to reinstate the glory of Islam in the present world. Tell the world that we are here to make this world a better place for all of us."
Honourable members and delegates,
I wish to inform this Council that this is the last Meeting I sit as the Chair of this Council on behalf of Mahallah as-Siddiq. Next month, President Bukhari will take the Chair and exercise the chairmanship of this Council on behalf of the same.
This move comes with two reasons: to allow him to coordinate the cause of this Council with his commitment as a member of Mahallah Representative Coordination Committee for Biah Solehah and Intellectualism; and to provide opportunities for him to make Usrah Mahallah better, not only for his people, but also the entire University Community.
Therefore, I humbly request this Council and the whole University Community to endorse his chairmanship in this Council and his presidency in his College with your prayers; and, with the same, I ask all of y…

The End of 731 Days

"My team and I are still asking each person and body of persons working for the University and its people, not to delay the problem solving, and not to deny the people’s right to better services and quality facilities. I also request them additionally to always centre their actions to the people. Because the University does not belong to only a person or a group. This University belongs to us all. We are all righteous to enjoy our rights."
Members of IIUM Community,

I take this opportunity to thank you very much for all kinds of advice, encouragement, support and prayer you have shared with me throughout 731 days of my service to IIUM as the President of Mahallah as-Siddiq Representative Committee,.

Engineering a Brighter Future

"Let me offer my people, my Mahallah and my University the following pledge: I will not let you down. I will be, to the best of my ability, your pleasant brother and good friend."
Presiding Officer, Mr. Principal, distinguished guests, honourable members and delegates, citizens of Mahallah as-Siddiq, people of IIUM: thank you.
I am greatly humbled and deeply honoured to be the chosen one to serve IIUM and succeed the previous man in the office of President of as-Siddiq College – or, officially, President of Mahallah as-Siddiq Representative Committee – for the remaining days of this Academic Year.
In fact, this is not the office of prestige and honour, but trust and responsibilities provided by the people and this University. To enter this office is not easy. To hold this office is even harder then to enter it. Only earnest labour and fervent prayers will help the man of this office to succeed.
To mark this day, let me offer my people, my Mahallah and my University the fol…
